Tanzania Wildlife Trip

Arrival
- You'll need to organize your flights to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
- From JRO we will arrange a private transfer to your hotel in Moshi.
- That night or early the next morning you will meet your local ZAFS representative and have a full briefing.

Materuni Waterfall and Coffee Tour
- In the morning at 08:30 am, you will be picked up by our driver guide at your hotel and drive to Materuni Village to start our nature walk experience.
- Breakfast at Hotel.
- This excursion is not only a good way to enjoy nature. The excursion starts in a small village of the Chagga tribe, where villagers will take you for a walk around the coffee plantation, show you the process of coffee bean picking and coffee making, and then give you a chance to take a part in this interesting process.
- At the end of the "coffee break".
- You will have a trekking challenge to Materuni waterfall. On the way to the goal, the guide will show you how avocados, mango, lemon, and bananas grow. Trekking will be accompanied by the stories about Kilimanjaro region and the waterfall.
- Achieving a goal, you will have a great opportunity to swim in fresh streams of water and have lunch near wonderful African nature!
- Return back to Hotel and Overnight stay.

Serval Wildlife & Chemka Hot Spring
- In the morning after breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick you up at 08:00 am and drive to west Kilimanjaro at Serval Wildlife, it’s a wildlife sanctuary with different variety of animals such as the Majestic African Lion, Calm Colobus Monkey, Graceful Maasai Giraffe, Nocturnal Bateared Foxes, Exquisite Elands, Oafish Ostriches, and Mischievous Blue & Vervet Monkeys,offering unforgettable direct interaction with a variety of free-roaming wild animals.
- At Serval Wildlife we’ll spend one hour then after we’ll drive to Chemka hot spring Situated about 40 km from Moshi, in the heart of the Sanya Plains, lies the Rundugai Springs. Locally called Chemka, meaning boiling, refers to the way the water appears to boil as it emerges from underground.
- The water is not hot rather it is a pleasant temperature! The springs' water is from the Greatest African Mountain, Kilimanjaro. It is an inviting place for a picnic and a swim too (don't forget your swimwear).
- Get a relaxing pedicure from the fish and if lucky enough to camp at these springs, this crystal-clear, turquoise water is surrounded by palm and fig trees, and winding roots offer a picturesque spot for relaxing afternoon swim. The spring is over 6 m deep in some places although you can see the bottom through the crystal-clear waters no matter where you are.
- You can also wrap your arms around one of the roots and just let the water flow by as you drift off into a daydream listening to the monkeys squeaking and birds chirping in the trees.
- Return back to Hotel.

Lake Manyara National Park
- You will be met by your private guide and vehicle and driven to Lake Manyara, arriving with plenty of time for an afternoon game drive.
- Located beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Rift Valley, Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its large alkaline soda lake which is home to the pink flamingo, yellow-billed stork, and heron. If you are lucky you may get a chance to see the tree-climbing lions, which are unique to this national park. Watch out for some fun antics from the local baboon population; Lake Manyara is believed to have the largest number of these primates in the World!
- Return back to Hotel and Overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater
- After an early breakfast, you will drive to the fascinating wildlife arena of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
- The crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is over 260km2 (100 miles2) and was formed when a massive volcano exploded and collapsed on itself 2 - 3 million years ago.
- It is now the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world and is often referred to as "Africa's Eden". Home to more than 25,000 large mammals – it is not unusual to see all of the 'Big Five (buffalo, elephant, rhino, lion, and leopard) in a single day.
- Driving through the Ngorongoro Highlands, you will arrive at the crater rim and then descend 610m (2000 feet) onto its floor to start your safari extravaganza.
- Return back to Hotel.

Tarangire
- You will drive to Tarangire, a "must-see" for avid birdwatchers, boasting over 550 different bird species, the most diverse in Africa, including the Kori Bustard, the heaviest flying bird in the World! The Tarangire River runs through the park attracting a huge number of elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and antelope, particularly in the dry season between June and October.
- It is not uncommon to see large herds of elephants roaming through Tarangire savannah grasses or taking shade under the odd-looking "upside down trees" (baobab) that are dotted around the park.
- Following a morning game drive you will transfer to your hotel in Arusha or directly to Kilimanjaro Airport for onward travel.
- With an incredible experience and loads of memories to cherish, this is the time you bid goodbye to your team.

Fly Back Home
- After a much-needed night's rest, we will bid you goodbye, we will collect you in the morning for your onward journey to the airport for your flight back to your home.

Terms
- Please note that these packages are customizable, which means that you will be able to make changes to the itinerary/activity if you so desire. The final payment will be calculated as per the itinerary and inclusions reflected on the confirmatory e-mail sent to you.
- Please expect to receive your vouchers 72 hours before your departure date (subject to full payment of your package cost).
- Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, mini bars etc., are not included.
- In case your package needs to be canceled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions etc. Dook Travels shall strive to give you the maximum possible refund subject to the agreement made with our trade partners/vendors.
- The passenger names in the booking form should be exactly as per passports. Dook Travels will not bear any liability for the name change fee, if incorrect names and ages have been added at the time of booking.
- Please note that your package includes baggage as per airlines policy. Any addition in baggage will be charged separately.
- Standard check-in time at the hotel is normally 2:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am. An early check-in, or a late check-out is solely based on the discretion of the hotel.
- In case the selected hotel is unavailable for booking, an alternate arrangement will be offered to the customer in another hotel of a similar category.
- Certain hotels may ask for a security deposit during check-in, which is refundable at check-out subject to the hotel policy.This amount has to be deposited by the traveler.
- Please note that Day at Leisure essentially implies that no sightseeing activities have been included for that day.
- Kindly be on time for your activities, tours and transfers. Dook Travels will not be liable for missing any activity thus for any refund against it in such cases.
- No refund either in part or in full will be made for any unused part of the services provided in the package.
- The package price doesn’t include special dinner or mandatory charges at times levied by the hotels especially during New Year and Christmas or any special occasions. Dook Travels shall try to communicate the same while booking the package. However Dook Travels may not have this information readily available all the time.
- Our package price does not include GST and TCS. Applicable GST and TCS will be charged over and above the package price.
- For queries regarding cancellations and refunds, please refer to our Cancellation Policy.
- For any paid activity which is non-operational due to any unforeseen reason, we will process the refund & should reach the guest within 30 days refund requisition. Also, for any activity which is complementary and not charged to Dook Travels & guests, no refund will be processed.
- Our package prices are on twin sharing accommodation basis thus published prices are applicable for minimum two persons and multiple of two thereon.
- As per RBI guideline every foreign traveler has to provide us his PAN details. The Dollar component of package price will be taken out of your BTQ (Basic Travel Quota).
- The tour cost does not include any Overseas Insurance Premium, but we strongly recommend buying Overseas Insurance Policy. The same after issuance is non refundable.
- These terms are general terms for our tour packages.Any term mentioned in proposal shall be considered part of it and in case of discrepancy term mentioned in proposal shall prevail.
- Disputes, if any, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.
Payment Policy
- Payment schedule depends on destination, time of booking, inclusions, airline and hotel payment policy etc thus it is specific to your package bookining.
- Payment schedule will be part of our proposal to you for the package.
- If payment is not made as per the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation e-mail, Dook Travels reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds would be as per the package cancellation policy.
Cancellation Policy
- Once Booking received : INR 5000 (Per PAX) + actual Ticket cancellation + Hotel cancellation as per hotel policy+Visa fee if visa is applied.
- 60 – 45 Days prior to departure : 25 % of land cost + INR 5000 (Per PAX) + actual Ticket cancellation+Visa fee if visa is applied.
- 45 – 30 days prior to departure: 50% of land cost + INR 5000 (Per PAX) + actual Ticket cancellation+Visa fee if visa is applied.
- 30 – 10 days prior to departure: 75% of land cost + INR 5000 (Per PAX) + actual Ticket cancellation+Visa fee if visa is applied.
- Within 10 days: Full.
