- On this tour we take you on a walk around the small city center of Tromsø that has been founded in 1795 on the island of Tromsøya. The city, which was also called the Gateway to the Arctic, has been throughout history the start for several Polar Expeditions. The tour continues with a guided walk along Storgata (the pedestrian street), the Market Place, the Catholic and Protestant Cathedrals, Roald Amundsen monument and the Mack Brewery.
