The ETIAS for Greece is expected to be introduced in 2022. ETIAS stands for European Travel Information and Authorization System. It is an electronic travel authorization that will allow eligible citizens to travel to Greece and the Schengen Area for short stays.
The European Commission is creating the ETIAS Visa Waiver for Greece in order to strengthen European borders by pre-screening visa waiver travelers to the Schengen Area.
The European visa waiver for Greece will allow a maximum stay of 90 days within a 180-day period for each entry to the Schengen Area. It is a multiple entry travel authorization valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
