National Flag Square is a large city square off Neftchiler Avenue in Bayil Baku Azerbaijan. A flag measuring 70 by 35 metres flies on a pole 162 m high. The flagpole was confirmed as the worlds tallest by the Guinness Book of Records but was soon overtaken by the 165 m Dushanbe Flagpole in Tajikistan.
