    DAY 1
    Arrive Delhi by Flight

    • Arrive Delhi, our representative will be waiting for you outside the exit gate of arrival terminal, holding a placard.
    • Met upon arrival and transfer to hotel. (early check in is subject to availability.)
    • The capital of modern India has behind it centuries of history, which has enriched its culture.
    • Nowhere has tradition blended with modernity on a scale as evident in New Delhi. Delhi is what you want it to be – a modern city with life or a city of monuments and history.

    DAY 2
    Delhi - Amritsar

    • Breakfast at the hotel.
    • In time transfer to Delhi airport to board the flight for Amritsar..
    • Arrive Amritsar, meet our representative and transferred to your hotel.
    • Founded in 1577 by guru ram das, fourth guru of the Sikhs, Amritsar (pool of the nectar of immortality) is considered the centre of the Sikh religion.
    • Now the second largest city of the Punjab state, it was once a junction of trade routes.
    • The main attraction of Amritsar is the golden temple, the holiest of Sikh sites. The city itself is named after the sacred tank within this temple.
    • Overnight at the hotel

    DAY 3

    • Breakfast at the hotel. 
    • Later proceed for half day city tour of  Amritsar - visit the golden temple, the spiritual nerve-centre of the Sikh faith. Also called harmandir, the temple is made of white marble and copper gilt with its dome covered with gold leaf. Within is the guru granth sahib, holy book of the Sikhs. See the community kitchen (langar) where volunteers’ feed 30,000 people free daily. Later visit the historic jallianwala bagh, which commemorates the hundreds of innocent Indians killed or wounded by British bullets in the most notorious massacre under their rule. Also see the beautiful ram bagh gardens.
    • Evening proceed for wagah border, every day of the year, just before sunset, a flag lowering ceremony takes place at the wagah border between India and Pakistan.
    • In late evening witness palki ceremony at the golden temple, there is palki sahib ceremony in the golden temple which takes place twice in day. 
    • Palki sahib ceremony is when the holy book guru granth sahib is carried to a room for night stay. This is symbolic gesture.

    DAY 4
    Amritsar - Dharamshala

    • Breakfast at the hotel. 
    • Later leave for dharamshala by surface.
    • Arrive dharamshala & check in at the hotel.
    • Overnight at the hotel.

    DAY 5

    • Breakfast at the hotel.
    • Later proceed for half day sightseeing of mcleodganj.
    • The dalai lama resides here. At the start of mcleodganj is a small bazaar filled with variety of Tibetan handicrafts and artifacts. At the end of the spur lies the namgyal monastery.
    • The external wall is surrounded by rows of prayer wheels.
    • Within the monastery are large idols of Buddha the charming church of st. John in the wilderness is situated here and this is the final resting place of lord elgin, a brutish viceroy of indie during the 19th century. 
    • Rest of the day is at leisure. (transport services are not included) overnight stay at hotel.

    DAY 6
    Dharamshala - Chandigarh

    • Breakfast at the hotel.
    • Later leave for Chandigarh by surface.
    • Arrive Chandigarh & transfer to airport to board the flight for Delhi.
    • Arrive Delhi & check in at the hotel.
    • Overnight stay at hotel.

    DAY 7

    • Breakfast at the hotel.
    • Later proceed for half day combined city tour of Delhi - the tour will begin with a visit to raj ghat, a simple memorial to mahatma Gandhi; drive past the red fort continuing to the jama masjid, one of Asia's largest mosques. The magnificent red fort, overlooking the river jamuna was built during the years 1638 - 48 when the mughal empire was at its peak. The tour continues to jama masjid, one of Asia's largest mosques and which is viewed from the outside. People stream in and out of the mosque continuously and the presence of a nearby bazaar means that the area is rarely quiet.
    • The tour to imperial Delhi will include a visit to the Qutub minar, which is the tallest stone tower in India.  The qutub minar was started in 1199 ad by qutub-ud-din aibak and completed by the sultan's successor and son-in-law, iltutmish. The building is 72.5 m high and has 379 steps from the bottom to the top. The minar is tapering with the diameter of the base is 14.3 m while at the top floor it is2.7 m.  The qutub minar is still the highest stone tower.the tour also includes a drive past the imposing India gate, the parliament building and the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the president’s residence.

    Departure Delhi by Flight

    • In time you will be met by our representative and transfer to Delhi international airport in time to board flight for onward destination. (late checkout is subject to availability)

    Jallianwala Bagh is a historic garden and memorial of national importance in Amritsar India preserved in the memory of those wounded and killed in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre that occurred on the site on the festival of Baisakhi 13 April 1919. It houses a museum gallery and a number of memorial structures.

    Qutub Minar

    Delhi is one of the most attracting cities in India for travellers from across the world. One of the busting cities of the world, Delhi is the capital city of India. Qutub Minar is part of Qutub complex in southern part of the city of Delhi. It is a minaret that forms part of Qutub Complex and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Qutub Minar is quite a tall minaret with the height of 73 meters with five storeys with a base diameter of 14.3 meter which reduces at the top of the minaret to just 2.7 meter. Qutub Minar has spiral staircase with 379 steps there. Each story of the Qutub Minar is distinct and each is marked by a projecting balcony.
