Baku City Tour
Your day starts with breakfast at the Hotel.
Our tour program kicks off with a visit to the Old City, the historical heart of Baku, enclosed by well-protected walls. In 2007, this ancient part of Baku, with its population of about 3,000 people, earned UNESCO recognition as a World Heritage Site. We'll explore this area on a walking tour.
Following that, the group will venture to the vibrant Nizami Street, renowned for shopping. The street's history dates back to Baku's town-planning project of 1864. It stretches from the city's mountainous western part, beginning at Abdulla Shaig Street, and runs eastward to Sabit Orujov Street, close to the monument of Shah Ismail Khatai in the "Black City." Fountains Square, also known as Parapet, is a public square in the heart of downtown Baku.
The tour continues with a visit to the Heydar Aliyev Center, an exemplary modern architectural wonder spanning 57,500 square meters. Designed by the renowned Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid, the center is celebrated for its distinctive, flowing, and curved style that avoids sharp angles. It bears the name of Heydar Aliyev, who served as the first secretary of Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982 and as the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan from October 1993 to October 2003.
Continue your exploration visiting Highland Park, often referred to as the Alley of Martyrs, is a poignant and historic site perched on a hill overlooking Baku. This site serves as a memorial to those who sacrificed their lives during various pivotal moments in Azerbaijan's history, including the struggle for independence and the conflicts that have shaped the nation. The park is adorned with elegant statues, intricate architecture, and beautifully landscaped gardens, creating a serene atmosphere for reflection and remembrance. We will also have a photo stop at The National Assembly, or Milli Majlis, which is the legislative body of Azerbaijan, responsible for shaping the country's laws and policies. Located in a striking and modern architectural masterpiece, the Milli Majlis building is a symbol of Azerbaijan's commitment to democracy and governance. We will take another photo stop near the flame towers. The Flame Towers are a trio of awe-inspiring skyscrapers that dominate Baku's skyline. These iconic structures are renowned for their innovative design and their ability to display mesmerizing light shows after dark. They are not only a symbol of modernity and progress but also a true architectural marvel that represents the vibrant and dynamic spirit of Azerbaijan's capital.

Baku- Flame Tour
The day commences with breakfast at the hotel, and then the tour unfolds as follows,
Our journey begins with a visit to the Ateshgah, also known as the Fire Worshippers Temple. This historic site has a rich history of serving as a place of worship for both Hindus and Zoroastrians. "Atash" is the Persian word for fire. The complex, with its pentagonal structure, features a courtyard surrounded by cells for monks and a central tetra pillar-altar. It was constructed during the 17th and 18th centuries.
Our next destination is "Fire Mountain," also known as "Yanardag," located 25 km north of Baku on the Absheron Peninsula. The name "Yanardag" translates to "Blazing mountain." Here, you'll witness continuous, natural gas flames dancing on the stones and ground. Yanardag is a striking example of the region's association with fire, earning Azerbaijan the moniker "the land of fire."
We'll then take a stroll along Baku Boulevard, which stretches along a south-facing bay on the Caspian Sea. The boulevard traditionally begins at Freedom Square and extends west to the Old City, covering various scenic spots. Since 2012, the addition of the Yeni Bulvar (New Boulevard) has nearly doubled its length, making it a captivating 3.75 km promenade.
Finally, we'll return to the hotel, concluding the day's explorations.
