Plan A Trip To Jeju City
Jeju Island is one of Korea's most popular tourist destinations. Located just off the southern coast of the Korean peninsula, Jeju is known for its beautiful beaches and diverse wildlife, including many types of birds and whales. The island also has a rich history that dates back over 2000 years from when it was first settled by humans. Today there are still many historical sites in Jeju that visitors can visit on their Jeju Island Tour to this beautiful island paradise!
If you want to get away from the hustle-bustle of the cities, Jeju Island is a great place to spend your vacation. It's small enough that you can explore it in one day or two with our Jeju Island Tour Package, but also large enough with plenty of Jeju-quirks to execute.
One of Jeju's best island attractions is Hallasan. It is a shield volcano which is also the highest point in Korea. Mount Hallasan is Korea's second-highest mountain. It was known as Yeongjusan in the early days. The peak offers spectacular views of Korea's coast. There are hiking trails up Mt. Hallasan where visitors can enjoy panoramic views of nature at its finest while getting exercise in their own sweat equity!
Seongsan Ilchulbong is a volcanic crater on Jeju Island, Korea. The crater is a popular tourist attraction and has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was formed by eruptions of magma that flowed beneath the surface, creating an inverted bowl-shaped crater with steep sides and a flat top, 5000 years ago. The lava dome inside this volcanic crater is about 2 kilometres across its widest point, making it one of the largest lava domes on Earth by volume.
If you're looking for a more natural experience on your Jeju Island Tour, Cheonjiyeon Waterfall is the place. The water is clean and clear, making it ideal for swimming or snorkeling. The surrounding forest offers plenty of shade in the summer so that you can enjoy your time there without having your skin turn lobster red from being trapped under the sun's glare all day long! The waterfalls are made up of three tiers: first comes an upper tier that has many pools on top; then there's middle tier with smaller pools; finally, there’s a lower third where all that runoff from above flows into one massive riverbed- Cheonjiyeon. You'll find yourself relaxing on these rocks at different points throughout your visit!
Jeju Folk Village Museum is a great place to visit and understand the land's vibrant culture. The museum has a great collection of traditional Korean houses and day-to-day heirlooms including those from the late 1890s. It also features an impressive garden where you can stroll around and enjoy the scenery. The museum is open every day from 9 am to 6 pm, with free admission for children under one year.
O'sulloc Tea Museum is a museum dedicated to the history and culture of green tea. The museum was established in 2001, and it has become one of Jeju Island's most prominent visitor temptations. The O'sulloc Tea Museum is also known as "O'sulloc Green Tea Plantation". It has been operating since 1979 when it was founded by Suh Sungwhan. The plantation currently covers over 300 hectares with its buildings ranging from small huts to large houses with beautiful tea gardens. The entire property can be explored during your visit. However, if you are looking for something more specific then there are several places which you can visit with our Jeju City Tour!
On Dook’s Jeju City Tour, you can visit the world's 12th-largest lava tube. This tube is over 8.928 km long and was formed thousands of centuries ago. Once you arrive at your destination, you'll have access to plenty of activities: hiking through the cave, swimming in its pools or just enjoying some peace and quiet while sitting on top of an enormous boulder overlooking all the other visitors who come here every year!
