It was formed by eruptions of magma that flowed beneath the surface, creating an inverted bowl-shaped crater with steep sides and a flat top, 5000 years ago. The lava dome inside this volcanic crater is about 2 kilometres across its widest point, making it one of the largest lava domes on Earth by volume.

If you're looking for a more natural experience on your Jeju Island Tour, Cheonjiyeon Waterfall is the place. The water is clean and clear, making it ideal for swimming or snorkeling. Jeju Folk Village Museum is a great place to visit and understand the land's vibrant culture. The museum has a great collection of traditional Korean houses and day-to-day heirlooms including those from the late 1890s. It also features an impressive garden where you can stroll around and enjoy the scenery. The museum is open every day from 9 am to 6 pm, with free admission for children under one year.

O'sulloc Tea Museum is a museum dedicated to the history and culture of green tea. The museum was established in 2001, and it has become one of Jeju Island's most prominent visitor temptations. The O'sulloc Tea Museum is also known as "O'sulloc Green Tea Plantation". It has been operating since 1979 when it was founded by Suh Sungwhan. The plantation currently covers over 300 hectares with its buildings ranging from small huts to large houses with beautiful tea gardens. The entire property can be explored during your visit.
